Unlike
plastic airspacers Insulseam
stainless is not fragile in the fabrication of sealed units.
Plastic spacers use aluminum foil the thickness of a human hair
(.002) as a moisture barrier to prevent moisture from getting
to the interior of the unit. Foil is very fragile, is easily
damaged in handling and the manufacture of the unit. Even scratches
can allow moisture to penetrate through to the interior of the
unit. Insulseam stainless
does not have any of these problems and is super strong and
durable allowing the manufacturer to fabricate a structurally
sound insulating sealed unit with confidence.
Architects
and Engineers specifying Insulseam
will know they are specifying the best. Insulseam
stainless has maximum strength for thermal performance and uses
minimum sealants. Insulseam
stainless has structural integrity specifically for high rise
buildings where safety, maximum life and performance are essential.
